Forward Deployed Software Engineer

Remote

arrowApply now

Forward deployed means you work inside the client’s context: their data, their workflows, their constraints. You write code, and you also sit in the meeting where the real requirement finally shows up.

What the work actually looks like

You own a system end to end. Design, build, deploy, and the call when something breaks. You will run a few client projects at a time. Some weeks you write a throwaway prototype on Tuesday and production code on Thursday, and knowing which one you are writing is most of the skill.

What we are looking for

Three or more years writing software that other people depend on, with real TypeScript depth on both sides of the wire. Comfortable in NestJS and Next.js, or clearly able to get there fast if you have been living in an adjacent framework. We care more about how you debug than which library you prefer.

You can explain a technical tradeoff to a non technical client without making them feel stupid. You have shipped something with LLM APIs or agents, meaning a project that ran in production rather than a tutorial you finished. Turkish and English good enough to run a client call in either.

Useful but not required: owning your own deployments and infrastructure, or a history of shipping something real with a small team and a short deadline.

What you will not find here

Decks about upcoming decks. Ten person calls where two people talk. Approval chains that outlive the project.
